When will these bikes become a reality?R15-June,YZ15-October(May take a bit more time),Gladiator-A new spiced up model with Yamaha colours will up for display from tomorrow.Which market Yamaha is targeting?Yamaha from now on will only target niche market with whatever product they launches in future.From now on they won't spend any of their time in 100cc segment and everything will be performance oriented.With these two products also they are targetting a class who wants to enjoy serious performance oriented biking.So forget about mileage.
Won't the engine heat up in Indian Summer?Every step is being taken by Yamaha with the Indian summer in mind.
What will be the BHP figures?We are on the final stages of finalising the bike's performance and the BHP figure will come at the end.
What will be the price?Although it will be niche product but we will try to keep the price below 1lakh.
What about the tyres?Final tyres will be a bit different from these.We are in the process of finalising a tyre which will help in getting maximum performance out of the Bike and which will stick like a glue while cornering.
What kind of top speeds do we expect?Currently this bike(R15) is doing 140+ but we are not in a position to tell what will be the final product like.
Separate R15 from FZ15The first product is made keeping on mind an out an out performance Bike which is more race oriented while the later will give all the thrill in cutting through the traffic with your body in a angular position.
